Estación Biológica de Doñana
Estación Biológica de Doñana (EBD) is a public Research Institute belonging to the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). Our fundamental mission is to carry out multidisciplinary research at the highest standards directed to understanding, from an evolutionary viewpoint, the way in which biodiversity is generated, maintained and how it deteriorates, as well as the consequences of its loss and the possibilities of its conservation and restoration. An inseparable derivative is also to promote the transfer of this knowledge to society. The Institute is formed by its main building in Seville and two field stations (Doñana Biological Reserve and Roblehondo).

Our lab is based at Estación Biológica de Doñana (EBD). The headquaters of EBD are located at Isla de la Cartuja (Seville, Spain), a scientific-technological park constructed for the Universal Exposition of 1992 held in Seville. Estación Biológica de Doñana has several laboratories for the common use of all researchers. The Institute also has two field stations, Doñana Biological Reserve (Doñana National Park) and Roblehondo (Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas Natural Park).

Applications of graduate students and postdocs interested in joining our lab are always welcomed. There are several types of opportunities for graduate students, including FPU, Severo Ochoa and La Caixa Foundation PhD fellowships. We are also willing to support applications for postdoctoral researchers through different external programs, including Juan de la Cierva and Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships. Occasionally, we also open positions funded by our own lab, which will be posted at this site and disseminated through different listservs. If you are interested in joining our lab, please contact us to discuss possibilities.
